Road Rally to Mt Lemmon

September 15 @ 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM

The Road Rally to Mt Lemmon starts with a breakfast at Five Points Market & Restaurant (optional) then to the Rally starting point on famous “A Mountain” (Sentinel Peak)  at 9am – (your choice for meet-up at 7:30 and breakfast at 8:00 breakfast  or start at 9 from “A Mountain”).

We will wind through the well-known, unique and historic sites of downtown Tucson picking up clues;  driving by famous places on the way to Checkpoint Carmen!   The rally moves at a moderate pace – no getting out of your car for clues!  The Rally continues with more sites along 4th Ave and we drive by  two famous and historical sites at the UofA on the way to Checkpoint Corbett.   Miatas can join us and start the Rally at any of the checkpoints.  Finally, after more clues and a stop at Checkpoint Oasis we will enjoy a pleasant drive up to Mt. Lemmon with our final stop at Sawmill Run Restaurant for a delicious lunch, wonderful mountain views and announcement of the Miata Road Rally to Mt. Lemmon Awards!  Friends in Miatas accepted!

Count us in! Question: Is there adequate parking where we can be away from “door swingers”? I’ve been there before and I found parking a problem.
