Phoenix Veterans Day 2017 Parade

November 11 @ 7:45 AM - 1:00 PM

Phoenix Veteran’s Day Parade

The Sahuaro Miata Club in Phoenix has invited OPMC members

to join them this year in a Veteran’s Day parade on November 11th.

Dick & Carol Thompson plan to go and would like anyone interested

to join them.  Sign up here!

On November 11th, we will meet at 7:45 a.m. at the Catalina Valero

gas station at Oracle Rd and Golder Ranch Rd at the Bashas’ grocery store just south of SaddleBrooke.

We are to gather at 9:45 a.m. at the staging area (southwest corner of

Bethany Home Road and Central Ave. in Phoenix.  Once there, we will

begin decorating our cars with any Red, White & Blue items you can find.

They suggest purchasing inexpensive items from Party City or Dollar Stores

like flags, decorations, crepe paper, balloons, etc.

You do NOT need to be a veteran in order to participate.  Any former

service members in our group are welcome to wear a part of their old

uniform of display a sign about their old unit.  You may also display a

photograph of a fallen service member you wish to recognize.

The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. and will conclude around 1:00 p.m.

They welcome OPMC members to participate in the parade and,

if you would like, to get a great lunch with them at the nearby TexAZ Restaurant.

SCROLL TO THE ‘LEAVE A REPLY’ BOX AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE TO SIGN UP FOR THIS EVENT.
